This is a highly distinctive collaborative reinterpretation of the Asics Gel-Kayano 14, co-designed with Japanese streetwear label SBA (Sneaker Boy Association). The shoe features a predominantly white engineered mesh upper for breathability, overlaid with bold red synthetic TPU cage elements forming the iconic Asics tiger stripe—here rendered as a raised, sculptural 3D structure. A large metallic silver Asics logo charm hangs from the lacing system, adding a playful, avant-garde touch. Blue accents appear on the lace loops, midsole inserts, outsole lugs, and heel counter, while beige rubber pods on the lateral midsole bear the 'SBA' embossing—a clear signature of the collaboration. The midsole combines Asics’ signature GEL cushioning with a rugged, multi-density EVA design, and the outsole features aggressive multidirectional lugs for traction.
